EAST TEXAS (KLTV) -

A pair wanted for burglarizing coin-operated machines around East Texas have now been arrested.

Tyler Police confirm that 42-year-old Tracy Lynn Mallewick was taken into custody in Dallas County. On Monday night, 35-year-old Michael Robert Ward was arrested after his neighbor, a Van Zandt County Deputy Constable, recognized him on a KLTV broadcast.

Police believe that Mallewick and Ward, both of Canton are responsible for multiple burglaries of coin-operated machines in East Texas. Their latest burglary occurred Sunday night at the Holiday Inn Express located at 3247 W. Gentry Parkway in Tyler.

Mallewick and Ward were also featured on the Mt. Pleasant-Titus County Crime Stoppers Tip of the Week on August 16. The two were wanted in Titus County for breaking into vending machines located inside Titus County Regional Medical Center.
