Emergency plans activated along Gulf Coast for TS Karen

Good Friday morning to you!  Britney Glaser here in the KPLC 7Newsroom with a look at what's ahead on today's Sunrise:

*People along the Gulf Coast prepare for Tropical Storm Karen.  In Louisiana, Governor Bobby Jindal has already declared a state of emergency.  Find out how severe the weather is expected to become today and what meteorologist Ben Terry is saying about any impact to Southwest Louisiana.

*A Lake Charles four-year-old girl is recovering this morning after being hit by an SUV in front of Henry Heights Elementary School.  Investigators are still searching for the driver of the car that hit her.

*The investigation continues this morning into the shooting incident on Capitol Hill yesterday afternoon.  The driver of the car that tried to go through barricades at the White House as been identified as a 34-year-old dental hygienist.

*Scam artists are trying to cash in on the Affordable Care Act.  We'll tell you how to protect yourself from tricky scam artists looking to tap into your personal information.
