Good morning!

Agnes DeRouen in the KPLC 7 Newsroom with a look at what we're working on for 7News@Noon.

We'll look at the aftermath of all that rain over the weekend and the subsequent flooding issues.

Speaking of weather, Ben tells me we are getting a break from the heat and humidity today, but that good thing will come to an end. He says expect the humidity to shoot up as well as the cloud coverage by later today. We'll see some rainfall, but this time estimates are much lower than what we experienced over the weekend. Ben will have a full outlook on what we can expect this week in his live, local forecast at noon.

Also today, the story of a beekeeper who has invented a new product designed to protect honey bees from a major threat – the small hive beetle. We'll explain how it works.

Plus, a new health concern over all-over spray tans. It has to do with an ingredient that hasn't been approved by the FDA.

Remember, you can always watch us online at kplctv.com and on air. We hope you join us, and have a great day!

Malveaux was shot in the hand, but was still able to to counter fire and allow his fellow soldiers to safely retreat.   "I fired a few shots," said Malve...
