McNeese 2nd half highlights

McNeese with a hard-fought win over West Alabama Saturday night. This game was down to the wire, especially with seconds left in the 4th quarter.

Just before halftime, Tigers are up 21-17. McNeese Quarterback Cody Stroud looks for a receiver, and he will find Nic Jacobs for a 4 yard touchdown pass. 

Then, in the third quarter, West Alabama's Kyle Caldwell looks for a receiver, the Tigers perform a nice fake, and he will find Ty Morgan for a 57 yard pass. Morgan takes it in for the touchdown. Its 28-24 Tigers.

Fourth quarter, with minutes left in the game, and McNeese is down 42-38. Cody Stroud falls back, and rockets the ball to the end zone into the hands of Diontae Spencer for a touchdown.
44-42 Cowboys.

Now West Alabama will give it one more go, but the Cowboy defense will pull out a stop, and McNeese wins the game 44-42

    A single-vessel boating accident on the Sabine River near Niblett's Bluff Park Sunday evening has resulted in two children being seriously injured, according to the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries. The injured children have been taken to the hospital, and one child is in critical condition, said Lt. Beau Robertson, LDWF spokesman.
