RAYNE, LA (KPLC) -

Gunfire in Rayne on Monday evening left one teen wounded and another wanted by police.

Officials say a 17-year-old was shot around 6 p.m.

The teen was taken to a hospital and at last word, was undergoing surgery.

Police want the public's help in finding 18-year-old Kayler Sinegal, who is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with knowledge of Sinegal's whereabouts is urged to call Rayne Police.

Bond for Sinegal was set at $250,000.
