CAMERON PARISH, LA (KPLC) -

The famous pink dolphin still calls the waters of Cameron Parish home.

Nicknamed "Pinky" by locals, the animal is actually albino, which gives it a pinkish color.

Pinky was first sighted in June 2007 in Cameron, swimming in the Calcasieu Ship Channel.

Over the years, there have been a number of sightings. The latest was by James Stark and Kaylin Quinn, who e-mailed this picture.

No word on exactly where in Cameron Parish that the picture was taken.
