A heat advisory has been issued for all of Southwest Louisiana. This is in effect all afternoon and expires at sunset. This means that high temperatures combined with humidity will make it dangerous to be outdoors for an extended period of time. It is possible we do not quite reach the criteria of an advisory, but we could still have a few select places get very close. Stay hydrated and use caution in the heat. There will be lots of sunshine with no chance of rain today.
