Good Tuesday morning to you! Britney Glaser here hoping you had a fantastic Labor Day and are ready to gear up for your work week with Sunrise today:
*Today's headlines include a look ahead at a Senate hearing today on U.S. action in Syria. Hear from Louisiana Congressman Charles Boustany about the questions he has for the decision-makers.
*An earthquake rocks parts of East Texas. It did not hurt anyone, but did knock some dishes and pictures off the wall about 60 miles away from Shreveport.
*The day after we honor working Americans, there are questions about the new jobs heading to Southwest Louisiana and who will get priority for them. Hear from local union workers this morning.
*Phase one of the Enterprise Boulevard extension project in Lake Charles north of I-10 earlier this year. But with the good comes the bad. Find out what nearby residents are saying about the project's impact on their lives.
Make it a Sunrise day!
Tonight, skies will be clear and we will have little to no chance for rain. It will not be as cold tonight. Temperatures will still get down to the 30s for Southwest Louisiana, but we should not see any freezing temperatures. If you head out tonight, you will still need to grab a coat. As we go through this week, the weather will be nothing less than perfect! We will have lots of sunshine and little to no chance for rain. We are on a gradual warming trend.More >>
