2013 TDL - 2A Preview

District 4-2A had co champs in 2012 with Welsh and Rosepine. But with district changes only the greyhounds remain out of the two. With a new head coach in John Richardson. But the plan is no different...to continue their winning ways and hope it leads to the dome.
Lake Arthur tied for second in the district with 8 wins for the fourth straight year. The tigers plans are to keep the momentum going from past years and possibly capture a district title.
For Kinder, the other team who tied for 2nd in 4-2A, they replace Jeff Wainwright with new head coach Bret Fuselier. A constant is starting QB Austin Pickle, who is expected to lead a tough squad through a tough schedule overall
DeQuincy finished in the middle of the pack last year in the district and they come into 2013 with a veteran defense
For Vinton, its year 3 for head coach Tarius Davis...and while the team went 1-7 in district last year, their goals are simple...earn an 11th game
Rosepine moves to 3-2A along with Pickering, as they join Oakdale and others.
For the Eagles, its all about doing something never done before in school history, making it to the quarterfinals
