Naked man arrested for performing lewd acts in his car

THIBODAUX, LA (WAFB) -

A Prairieville, LA man has been arrested after police say he was driving around a parking lot, naked, and performing lewd acts.

Reports indicate that witnesses saw 27-year-old Drew Alexander driving around a parking lot in Thibodaux, LA. He was naked and was "intently staring at people" while performing the lewd act.

Witnesses also tell police that he made no effort to cover himself as people passed by his vehicle.

Alexander is charged with lewd exhibition of genital, which is a felony. He faces up to three years in prison and/or a $2,500 fine if convicted.

Alexander was booked into the Lafourche Parish Detention Center.
