Port agrees to let Clean Energy increase storage, handling of methanol

There are more jobs on the way at the Port of Lake Charles.

The port on Monday agreed to let Lake Charles Clean Energy increase its storage and handling of methanol.

The agreement allows close to one million tons to be exported.

Construction begins once the company receives funding in 2014, bringing it up to 165 new jobs for the port.
