*The Calcasieu Parish District Attorney's Office is scheduled to hold a news conference at 3:00 P.M. regarding the 2013 murder case involving defendants Brian Diamond, Kawliger Connelly and Steven Ellis.  The three men are charged with manslaughter in the beating death of Matthew Crochet at a New Year's Eve party in Moss Bluff.

*An animal abuse case out of St. Bernard Parish lands a man in jail after deputies find 29 puppies and three adult dogs dead in his freezer.  We'll tell you why he said they were being held in the freezer.

*A hearing will be held tomorrow to determine whether remains thought to be that of Nela Hardwick will be exhumed.  She disappeared 20 years ago.  Now, investigators believe a body found in 1998 along I-10 in Hancock County, Mississippi could be her.
