CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Earlier this week before the home was torn down Ariel Castro's family was allowed inside to remove valuables. The basic agreement was that they could remove sentimental items and they weren't supposed to profit from them. Did someone attempt to?

19 Action News saw pictures in frames, clothes, clothes, and more clothes by the bagful. Bicycles and tools of all kinds. But most notable were musical instruments like Conga drums, guitars and large stringed instruments.

All removed under the watchful eye of Cleveland Police. Castro's attorney Craig Weintraub was there as well.

Now ad on Craigslist has popped up. It reads Ariel Castro's musical instruments. It reads:

"I have electric guitars and bass guitars that were owned by Ariel Castro. I removed these items myself from the "House of Horrors" on Seymour Avenue. I am looking to sell these items in a package deal. Some of these instruments were pictured in the evidence photo's from the court proceedings. Serious inquiries only. Respond by email and leave your contact info."

There are many questions, the listing went up at about 8:30 Wednesday evening. When you click on it now, the site says it has been flagged for removal. The bigger question, it is a hoax, or is someone trying to profit from pain? We tried to respond, but the message link was undeliverable. Another question, is selling the stuff really any different than scrapping pipe or other metal items?

A final question -- would a family member, all of whom expressed disgust with what Ariel Castro did, sensationalize the listing by calling this as the ad does -- a "house of horrors?"
