Kidnapper Ariel Castro moved to new prison

Kidnapper and rapist Ariel Castro has been moved from the Lorain Correction Facility in Grafton to the Correctional Reception Center in Orient, Ohio.

Castro was sentenced to life in prison, plus 1,000 years, for kidnapping and sexually assaulting Amanda Berry, Michelle Knight and Gina DeJesus while holding them captive in his Seymour Avenue house for over a decade.

The Seymour Avenue house was torn down before a cheering crowd on Wednesday morning.
