Car smashes through guardrail, strikes house

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A car crashed into a south Nashville home Tuesday night near the corner of Edmondson Pike and Brewer Drive.

The car smashed through a guardrail and a fire hydrant before it hit the house.

The family inside said they felt the jolt while they were eating dinner, but no one was hurt.

Even though the driver ran away, police said they know his identity. Officers said the car belongs to the driver's mother.
