KFC robbed in north Nashville

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Police said two men robbed a KFC in north Nashville on Sunday night. The holdup occurred on Rosa Parks Boulevard around 8:30 p.m.

Witnesses said the men walked in and starting waving a gun at employees. They then went into the office area and took cash that was located next to the safe.

While the robbers left the restaurant, they told employees to get on the floor. No one was hurt.

Police said they have surveillance video of the robbery but have not released it to the media.
