NEW YORK (RNN) – Eight people were injured, three in critical condition, after an explosion and fire in a Chinatown building on Thursday.
The five-story building may have been under construction.
The New York Fire Department told NBC4 that there was a partial collapse of the first floor at the rear of the building.
The FDNY also said that the source of the explosion and fire is unknown. The fire was contained to a single building.
