LA Sports Hall of Fame Museum to open Friday

NATCHITOCHES, LA (KSLA) -

The Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame will hold its grand opening, Friday, at 7:30 p.m. The $23 million project situated in downtown Natchitoches has been an ongoing project for several years. It will be KSLA News 12's first look inside the museum.

In conjunction with the opening of the new museum, the Hall of Fame will also be inducting 11 new members this weekend. The list of inductees include several Louisiana greats like Grambling star James Jones, LSU football alum Tommy Hodson and Kevin Mawae, and NBA superstar Shaquille O'Neal.
