MOSS BLUFF, LA (KPLC) - A Moss Bluff couple is facing charges in a meth lab bust.
According to a news release from the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office, Troy and Robyn Williford are accused in the case.
Authorities said on Monday, detectives with the Anti-Drug Task Force (C.A.T. Team) conducted an investigation at the Williford home on Topsy Road following allegations of drug activity there.
Authorities said detectives searched the home and found several chemicals consistent with the creation or operation of a clandestine lab and suspected methamphetamine, as well as drug paraphernalia.
Authorities said a 13-year-old was also at the home and was placed with family members.
Troy and Robyn Williford were arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center.
Both are charged with creation/operation of a clandestine lab, possession of CDS II (methamphetamine), possession with intent of CDS II (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia and cruelty to a juvenile.
Judge Robert Wyatt set Troy Williford's bond at $70,500; and Judge Wilford Carter set Robyn Williford's bond at $7,500.
