LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) -

To see a dream become a reality.

This is what Justin Hill got to experience when he was announced as the Head Coach of McNeese Baseball on Friday.

Ten years of coaching in college as an assistant, led to a 48 hours of pandemonium before the press conference.

And for the Cowboys, it was a practical no brainer as everywhere Hill has been, success has followed. But it was his ability to relate that won the committee over.

On top of his coaching career, he also pitched at LSU under legendary coach Skip Bertman and Smoke Laval.

A two-year career that taught life long lessons in baseball that he still uses to this day.
