JENNINGS, LA (KPLC) -

Another building is expected to undergo changes, the Jennings City Hall.

Plans to move City Hall and renovate other city departments could start by August.

The Jennings City Council will receive bids Tuesday for the first segment of the $6 million project.

That would include renovating the former All-West Building for City Hall and moving other offices to the city-owned conference center.

Additionally, city workers in Jennings could get pay raises.

The City Council will hold a special meeting on Tuesday to discuss its proposed budget that would give city workers a 2 percent pay increase starting on July 1.

That meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
