Good morning!

Agnes DeRouen in the KPLC 7 Newsroom with a look at what we're working on for 7News@Noon.

Two people have been arrested in connection to 33 small meth labs – commonly called "shake and bakes" in Moss Bluff.

A shooting in Mossville has one person injured and Calcasieu Sheriff's officials searching for a suspect.

Also today, a landscaper is using the power of the sun to "go green" this summer. We'll show you how his solar-powered lawn equipment works.

Plus, a nurse who was in the right place at the right time saves a man's life. Now, she's getting a reunion with the patient who eventually got a new heart – thanks, in part, to her efforts.

In weather, plenty of sunshine this morning and Ben says we can expect the temperatures to quickly hit the 80's with lots of humidity. By this afternoon, though, we can expect a few widely scattered thunderstorms. What about our weekend? Look for all the details in Ben's live, local weather at noon.

Remember, you can always watch us online at kplctv.com and on air. We hope you join us, and have a great weekend!
