Elderly Lake Charles man missing since Monday morning

LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) -

Lake Charles police are assisting in the search of a missing elderly man from Lake Charles.

Leroy Levi Stewart Sr., 85, has been missing since 10 a.m. Monday from Moss Regional Hospital.

Authorities said he was spotted around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Valero on U.S. 171. He was also reportedly seen in the area of 1620 N. Simmons and in the 1500 block of North Adams.

Family members of Stewart say he suffers from Alzheimer's, high blood pressure and diabetes. He has also reportedly had two strokes.

Stewart was seen at the hospital wearing beige khaki pants, a beige shirt with yellow stripes, black tennis shoes and black socks. However, authorities said he changed his clothes and was seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue jean shorts.

Stewart walks with the aid of a cane.

He weighs around 150 to 160 pounds.
