ASCENSION PARISH, LA (WAFB) -

Of the 77 workers injured in the Williams Olefins explosion in Geismar, LA last week, only two remain hospitalized.

One person is in Baton Rouge General's Burn Unit and is listed in good condition.

The other injured worker is recovering at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital and is listed in fair condition.

From the second explosion in Donaldsonville, LA that happened Friday, only one person is still in the hospital. Seven people were injured in that blast. The one person still hospitalized is at Our Lady of the Lake and is listed in fair condition.

Federal Safety regulators are investigating the causes of both explosions.
