Good morning!

Agnes DeRouen in the KPLC 7 Newsroom with a look at what we're working on for 7News@Noon.

If you've been monitoring kplctv.com you've been able to see a live press conference by the FBI about a fugitive wanted for the sexual assault and murder of a Lake Charles woman in 2008. Officials say 25-year-old Jose Manuel Garcia-Guevara has been named to the FBI's 10 "Most Wanted" List. KPLC's Theresa Schmidt is there and will have a live update for us at noon.

Also today, we'll tell you about Pinnacle Entertainments intention to sell the Ameristar Casino Hotel Project here in Lake Charles. What prompted the decision? Find out at noon.

Something new for Beatles lovers. Drummer Ringo Starr has a new exhibit at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles. We'll go on a tour.

Plus, one non-profit group partners with a bionics company to provide a remarkable technology that helps paralyzed veterans walk again.

In weather, Ben tells me your work week begins with lots of warmth and humidity. Rain chances are pretty low, but the tropics are beginning to get our notice. There's something brewing off the coast of the southern Yucatan Peninsula, so if you're set for a vacation in Mexico you could be in for a bumpy stay. Ben will have all the details during his live, local forecast and you can always access current conditions and tropical information HERE.

Remember, you can always watch us online at kplctv.com and on air. We hope you join us, and have a great day!

To start off our week, we will have another hot and sunny day. There will be a few clouds that build up this afternoon, but the rain chances are slim to none. Temperatures will once again be very hot. Highs will reach the mid 90s. Some area north of I-10 could reach the upper 90s. Heat indices will also be in the triple digits. A heat advisory will likely be issued. If you are planning on spending time outdoors, I recommend taking caution in the heat.
