LA National Guard's top enlisted advisor fired

Good Monday morning to you!  Britney Glaser here in the KPLC 7Newsroom with a look at what's ahead on today's Sunrise:

*The Louisiana National Guard's top enlisted advisor is fired over sexual harassment allegations.  Find out what investigators say happened to lead to the firing of 53-year-old Sgt. Maj. Tommy Callier.

*There's growing angst on Capitol Hill for the FBI to find self-proclaimed whistleblower Edward Snowden to make him pay for exposing secret surveillance programs.  There is still disagreement on whether collecting the phone and internet records violated privacy of Americans.

*We are awaiting more details on two drownings over the weekend, one that took the life of a DeQuincy dad and another that resulted in the death of a child in the Lafayette area.

*Meteorologist Ben Terry is tracking a tropical wave and will let us know if it's expected to form into anything significant.  He will also tell us if we will be dealing with dangerous heat this week.

Make it a Sunrise day!
