Victim found on sidewalk with gunshot wound

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A man was found early Friday morning sitting on a sidewalk with a gunshot wound.

Police heard gunshots coming from 23rd Avenue North around 2:30 a.m.

When they arrived, they found a 33-year-old man had been shot in the leg.

The victim told police someone drove by in a black sport-utility vehicle and opened fire.

No arrests have been made.
