McNeese Basketball Working on Improving in the Summer

The season of Summer. In the world of sports, it means a time of rest and relaxation. But also a time for camps and a time to get better leading into the next season.

And since Adrian mentioned it, we'll start with Cowboys basketball, who had a disappointing 8th place finish in the Southland but have promised themselves there will be no repeat of last year.

Cowgirls basketball made the most of their opportunities, as after an underachieving season in conference, the team made a run all the way to the WBI Finals.

And if the Cowgirls aim to make it four straight 20 win seasons, a lot will hang on Allison and senior Cecilia Okoye, who've both been working on their games.

But for now, both groups of players will get a taste for the coaching side of things, as they help out with their respective camps
