DEQUINCY, LA (KPLC) -

More details have been released in a Thursday morning fire in DeQuincy behind Buckin' Bronco bar at 1044 La. 27, just north of DeQuincy.

According to Teri Gilland, district captain and public information officer for the Ward 6 Fire Protection, firefighters responded to the fire shortly after receiving a call at 12:56 a.m.

Gilland said firefighters responded to find the pavilion located behind the bar fully in flames.

A large motor home, a boat, two other passenger vehicles, several pieces of restaurant equipment and a utility trailer were destroyed in the fire, Gilland said.

A shed located near the pavilion was also fully involved in flames upon their arrival and was a total loss, Gilland said.

Gilland said the cause of the fire is undetermined and is being investigated by the Louisiana Fire Marshal's Office.

Gilland said mutual aid assistance was provided by DeQuincy, Houston River and Ragley fire departments.
