CALCASIEU PARISH, LA (KPLC) - If you live near Topsy Road in Calcasieu Parish, take your shower early on Wednesday morning.
Some residents served by Waterworks District 1 will experience a water outage starting at 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Crews will shut off the water on Topsy Road and all intersecting roads in Ward 1, Gillis Cut Off and sections of U.S. 171 at Topsy, north of Kirby Lane.
A contractor for the district will be connecting a newly relocated water line to the existing line.
