Good morning!

Agnes DeRouen in the KPLC 7 Newsroom with a look at what we're working on for 7News@Noon.

S.E.C. filings show a change over at Pinnacle Entertainment. The man who served as Senior VP of Louisiana Operations and Senior VP and GM of the company's Lake Charles property has resigned.

Also today, a baby girl is alive thanks to the quick thinking of doctors at the University of Kansas. They found an unusual way to treat her rare condition – with super glue! Read the story HERE.

In weather, Ben tells me it will be very warm today and its possible some of us could see some isolated storms during the afternoon. However those cooling rains will disappear over the next few days and that means our highs will be in the 90's and those heat index values will mean some pretty hot days ahead. Just how bad will it get? Tune in for Ben's live, local forecast at noon for the answer, and remember, you can always check current conditions HERE.

Speaking of the intense heat, if you go out make sure you use sunscreen, but do we all know what S-P-F is right for us? We'll have important information to help you protect your skin this summer.

Remember, you can always watch us online at kplctv.com and on air. We hope you join us, and have a great day!
