Autopsy set for today in missing LA teacher case

Good Monday morning to you!  Britney Glaser here in the KPLC 7Newsroom with a look at what's in store on today's Sunrise:

*It's been several months since New Orleans area teacher, Terrilynn Monette, disappeared.  Police got a break over the weekend when they found her car with a body inside.  An autopsy is set for today to verify that they found the missing teacher.

*We will hear more this morning from the Lake Charles Police Department regarding the death of an 18-year-old man and the arrest of another 18-year-old at an Iris Street apartment complex.

*There is now a name and a face behind the man who says he exposed the National Security Agency's secret surveillance programs.  Find out why officials are saying the man is putting the nation at risk.

*Louisiana residents wanting to go after alligators this fall have a deadline coming up.  We'll tell you about the Thursday deadline.

    Just a year after Louisiana was ranked as the 7th worst state for business, CNBC ranked the "Worst States to Live In 2017". Louisiana ranks 2nd worst. "That doesn't surprise me," said Alex Allemond. "I meet a lot of people at my job and they don't like Louisiana." The study's quality of life score is 87 out of 300 points, a score Louisiana resident Jeff Staples disagrees with. "I think the quality of life is great," he said.
