Severe weather aftermath in SWLA

Good Friday morning to you!  Britney Glaser here in the KPLC 7Newsroom with a look at what's in store on today's top stories:

*The storm that moved through the area Thursday evening left behind a lot of damage that will have to be cleaned up over the weekend.  More than 1,000 homes are still without power this morning.

*After lashing out at the Florida coast, Tropical Storm Andrea continues to move inland, still a powerful system as it makes its way now to the East Coast.

*The legislative session is over and lawmakers avoided a special session.  We look into some of the most far-reaching bills that are sitting on Governor Bobby Jindal's desk for signature.

*From a youth fishing derby to the last installment of Downtown at Sundown, we'll have the rundown of events that you can check out this weekend.
