Strong reaction to Supreme Court's ruling on DNA swabs

Good Tuesday morning to you!  Britney Glaser here in the KPLC 7Newsroom with a look at what's ahead on today's Sunrise:

*A landmark ruling at the Supreme Court will drastically alter how much power we allow our police officers to have.  They can now take a DNA sample by swabbing the cheek of a person arrested for a serious or violent crime.  We have reaction to that ruling this morning.

*The drought in the Midwest is having a ripple effect on the price of some foods, including higher meat prices.  We'll tell you where we stand right now at the check-out counter and if any relief is in sight.

*We told you about the man in Central Texas killed by a swarm of killer bees.  So, what do you do if you come in contact with a hive?  Hear the potentially life-saving information this morning.

*It's expected to be another rough day for the IRS.  The focus today: outlining how taxpayer dollars on trips and conferences were allegedly squandered.

*In a period of four months, a Lake Charles woman's husband left her, she became homeless and her son was shot to death.  At that time, Freeda Beloney weighed 415 pounds, but she is transforming her body, mind and spirit as you'll see in this morning's Healthcast!

Make it a Sunrise day!
