Good morning!

Agnes DeRouen in the KPLC 7 Newsroom with a look at what we're working on for 7News@Noon.

Brandi Holyfield and Bobby Davis Jr. appeared before an Allen Parish judge this morning to have bonds set in the murder charges brought against them. Both are charged in the death of Holyfield's 2-year-old daughter. KPLC's Gerron Jordan is there and will have our update.

A 45-year-old Welsh man is dead following a single vehicle crash on La. 1131 south of Highway 90 in Jeff Davis Parish. We'll tell you what State Police report happened.

Also today, cross-dressing at an elementary school in Wisconsin spreads nationwide controversy. Teachers say it was the children's idea.

Plus, the school year is over and most school buses are parked for the summer. One bus, however, is hitting the road to make sure kids don't go hungry.

One 11-year-old is doing something special as well. She's been preaching for the past 5 years!  Hear about her at noon, or check out the story HERE.

In weather, Ben tells me it should be a warm and dry day with highs this afternoon in the lower 90's. No rain is expected, but things could change later in the week. Look for all the details during Ben's live, local forecast at noon.

Remember, you can always watch us online at kplctv.com and on air. We hope you join us, and have a wonderful day!

If Trump's tax plan is implemented, certified tax attorney, Rusty Stutes of Lake Charles, says it will mean a lower tax bill for businesses, big and small. "That has the potential to be one of the biggest game changers in American tax history, because if you started to allow small businesses to only be taxed once and be taxed at a 15% rate, the potential for unleashing economic growth with something like that could really be extraordinary," he said.
