Lake Charles police make four arrests in armed robbery

LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) -

Lake Charles authorities are investigating yet another armed robbery within the city.

According to a news release from the Lake Charles Police Department, accused in the case are 19-year-old D'Andre Lambert, 26-year-old Ashley Faye Jackson, 18-year-old Chelsey Renee Watson and 21-year-old Cleveland Terrel Carter, all of Lake Charles.

Authorities said at about 11:06 p.m. Wednesday, officers were dispatched to Enterprise Boulevard and 16th Street in reference to the incident.

Authorities said an individual was reportedly robbed while in the 1200 block of 16th Street. The victim, authorities said, provided descriptions of the suspects and the suspect vehicle.

A be-on-the-lookout (BOLO) was issued and the suspects were later located at a convenience store in the 1000 block of North Martin Luther King Boulevard.

The suspects were arrested and the investigation continues.

Lambert, Watson and Carter are charged with armed robbery and armed robbery with a firearm. Bond for each is set at $125,000.

Jackson is charged with armed robbery, armed robbery with a firearm, illegal carrying of a weapon, possession of CDS I, possession of CDS II and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond is set at $141,000.
