'Downtown at Sundown' continues with Curley Taylor and Zydeco Trouble

LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) -

The Downtown at Sundown concert series continues on Friday with a performance by Curley Taylor and Zydeco Trouble from 6:15 p.m. to 9 p.m. in downtown Lake Charles.

The four-part series will wrap up with a performance by City Heat on June 7. 

Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. and will include food, art and merchandise vendors.

Concert-goers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. No outside beverages or pets will be allowed on site.

In the case of inclement weather, concerts will be held inside the Lake Charles Civic Center.

The 700-800 blocks of Ryan Street (between Division and Pujo Streets) will be closed to vehicle traffic and street parking during the event, but parking will be available in the surrounding parking lots downtown.

Sponsors for the event are the American Press, CITGO, Delta Downs Racetrack Casino and Hotel and Entergy.
