Louisiana postmark on ricin-laced letters

Good Thursday morning to you!  Britney Glaser here in the KPLC 7Newsroom with a look at some of today's top headlines you will see on Sunrise beginning at 4:30 A.M.:

*Ricin-laced letters sent to the office of New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and his Washington, D.C.-based gun control group were postmarked in Louisiana, specifically Shreveport.  We'll have a report from Tracie Potts this morning on how federal investigators are working to find the source.

*Finding that perfect place to call home can be a challenge.  A local couple's search is set to be featured on TLC's "My First Home."  Lee Peck will introduce you to the couple and the realtor who made it happen.

*U.S. Senator David Vitter is in Lake Charles today for a town hall meeting at 10:00 A.M.  You can ask questions to him directly about legislation in Washington, including keeping flood insurance rates from going up.
