Louisiana postmark on ricin-laced letters

Good Thursday morning to you!  Britney Glaser here in the KPLC 7Newsroom with a look at some of today's top headlines you will see on Sunrise beginning at 4:30 A.M.:

*Ricin-laced letters sent to the office of New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and his Washington, D.C.-based gun control group were postmarked in Louisiana, specifically Shreveport.  We'll have a report from Tracie Potts this morning on how federal investigators are working to find the source.

*Finding that perfect place to call home can be a challenge.  A local couple's search is set to be featured on TLC's "My First Home."  Lee Peck will introduce you to the couple and the realtor who made it happen.

*U.S. Senator David Vitter is in Lake Charles today for a town hall meeting at 10:00 A.M.  You can ask questions to him directly about legislation in Washington, including keeping flood insurance rates from going up.

*Most people associate the word "strep" with strep throat, but imagine a strain of strep with side effects so shocking and dangerous it leads to obsessive compulsive disorder and erratic behavior.  Hear from three parents dealing with their children's diagnosis of PANDAS in Healthcast.

Make it a Sunrise day!
