Local woman in Oklahoma helping tornado victims

Good Afternoon,

Lee Peck from the KPLC 7 Newsroom with a look at what we are working on today.

We've shown you how locals are stepping up and giving supplies and money to help the tornado victims in Oklahoma. Tonight, you'll meet a local woman who is donating her time in Oklahoma to help.

Plus, boats, boats and more boats… the Lake Arthur Regatta is underway. KPLC's Olivia Vidal was there and will have this story.

And you may have noticed a small group of demonstrators on Ryan Street in front of Books-A-Million. Turns out they're a part of a much larger event – "March Against Monsanto." We'll tell you what they are trying to accomplish.

It's definitely warming up outside. Meteorologist Cedric Haynes has your forecast and if we can expect any rain.

We'll see you tonight six with all of these stories and much more. Until then we're always on at kplctv.com.
