A Moss Bluff man was indicted Thursday by a Calcasieu grand jury on a charge of carnal knowledge of a juvenile.

Micah Paul Woodward, 30, is accused in the February case, investigated by the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office.

Authorities said on Feb. 2, at approximately 11 p.m., deputies observed a 14-year-old boy sitting inside a car at the I-10 beach parking lot with an older man, later identified as Woodward, after park hours.

Woodward is accused of engaging in inappropriate sexual activity with the alleged victim.
