Former McNeese State defensive back Malcolm Bronson would almost certainly have been an NFL draft pick if he had not missed most of his senior season with a knee injury.
But now he will get his chance after all, after signing a free agent contract with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Bronson is one of the Cowboys' all-time great defensive players.
He was first-team all-Southland Conference each of his first 3 years at McNeese, and was a lock to make it 4 straight before his injury.
He was the Cowboys' leading tackler and MVP in 2011, and now in 2013 he is a Kansas City Chief.
