Is someone spying on you through your phone? - KPLC 7 News, Lake Charles, Louisiana

Is someone spying on you through your phone?

Good morning!

Agnes DeRouen in the KPLC 7 Newsroom with a look at what we're working on for 7News@Noon.

It is a scene of utter devastation. Dozens have been killed, including many children after a monstrous tornado ravaged Oklahoma City suburbs. The center of the destruction is in the community of Moore. At noon we'll have reports from the area, and you can also access more information HERE. We'll also tell you how some local folks with the Red Cross are traveling to Oklahoma to lend a hand.

In local weather, Ben tells me today should be much like Monday with heat and humidity the headline. A strong threat for severe weather exists across the Arkansas-Louisiana-Texas region this afternoon, and by later tonight showers are expected in parts of our area, but Ben says none of those should be severe. Tomorrow you can expect more storms and at noon you can find out more on what to expect here during his live, local forecast.

Also today, are smart phone "spies" watching you? Find out why some stores are doing it, and how you can protect yourself from it.

Plus, veterans returning home from military duty expect to see some changes, but one Army Specialist found an amazing transformation when he and his wife were reunited. She lost 100 pounds while he was deployed!

Remember, you can always watch us online at kplctv.com and on air. We hope you join us, and have a wonderful day!
