MOSS BLUFF, LA (KPLC) -

A 19-year-old Moss Bluff teen is accused of striking two elderly individuals numerous times and causing injuries.

According to a news release from the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office, Austin Lee Dailey is facing two counts of cruelty to the infirm.

Dailey is accused of striking the two individuals, ages 80 and 83, numerous times, causing several injuries. Authorities said after the incident, he fled the scene.

Authorities said they were dispatched to a home on May 8. Dailey was later located and arrested.

During the investigation, authorities said they learned that Dailey had previous alleged altercations with the individuals.

Bond in the case is set at $250,000.
