Good morning!

Agnes DeRouen in the KPLC 7 Newsroom with a look at what we're working on for 7News@Noon.

Also today, we'll tell you about a new scam that's targeting computer owners. Find out how you can avoid being the next victim.

Plus, a giant African land snail has been discovered in the backyard of a Houston home. Now researchers are sending out a warning about this disease-spreading parasite.

In weather, Ben tells me we'll have mainly cloudy skies today, with some showers around.  Tonight things will change – what will this mean for our weekend? Look for the answers during Ben's live, local forecast at noon.

Remember, you can always watch us online at kplctv.com and on air. We hope you join us, and have a great day!

    Less humid Wednesday!Less humid Wednesday!

A cold front will move through Southwest Louisiana late Tuesday or early Wednesday.  This will bring noticeably drier air back to our area and that means we get a break from the humidity!  But it will also bring scattered showers and thunderstorms tonight.  The timing looks to be between 8 p.m. and 2 a.m. Wednesday.  The risk of severe weather is very low, but like last night, it is not zero!
