SULPHUR, LA (KPLC) -

More than 100 cyclists will leave Houston headed for New Orleans in the 5th Annual Tour du Rouge this week.

Some cyclists made a pit stop in Sulphur on Monday.

The 533-mile cycling adventure raises awareness and money for American Red Cross services along the Gulf Coast and benefits seven Red Cross chapters, which provide support for communities in need.
