Sunrise crew set to talk to local couple before "Today Show" segment

Happy Thursday morning to you!  Britney Glaser here in the KPLC 7Newsroom with a look at what's in store on this busy morning:

*"Today Show's" Al Roker might be heading to Southwest Louisiana for an upcoming forecast!  Our Sunrise crew plans to talk to Lori Primeaux-Coleman, a secretary for the Carlyss Fire Department, this morning about why she entered the "Wake up with Al"contest.  She is in New York City this morning for an appearance on Today!

*The City of Lake Charles is about to spend nearly $4 million on renovations to the civic center.  Find out how the money will be used.

*We have new information this morning on the arrests of three additional people connected to the Boston Marathon terror attack.

*In a special Healthcast this morning, I'll introduce you to Amy Hastings McGee of Sulphur.  Dialysis is keeping her alive now that she has no kidneys.  She is hoping to be approved for a fifth kidney transplant.

*Get ready to flex your muscles!  We will have an interesting live segment this morning with strongman, Jeff "T-Rex" Bankens.  He plans to break a world record at Contraband Days tonight with his feats of strength.
