EB I-210 Prien Lake Bridge reopens after accident

LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) -

Louisiana State Police Troop D reports that eastbound Interstate 210 is reopen at the Prien Lake Bridge following Monday morning's accident involving a large truck.

Interstate 210 westbound is also open.

Troopers said the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development welded the guard rail that was damaged in the accidents.

DEQ also monitored the fuel spill caused by the incidents.

There were no injuries in the accidents.

Troopers said in all, there were three separate, two-vehicle crashes around 8:30 a.m. Monday.
