An early morning fire at vacant home on Monroe Street spreads to a neighboring home. Three residents inside managed to escape, but the damage left behind leaves them homeless.

Plus, motorcyclists from across the state rallied at the State Capitol to launch a month long campaign on motorcycle safety. We'll tell you how they plan to educate other motorists.

Also 5th graders from across the parish put on their dancing shoes for the annual "Dancing Classrooms" competition. KPLC's Gerron Jordan explains how the program is teaching the students much more than just all the right moves.
