Barge explosions rock river in Mobile, Alabama

Good Thursday morning to you!  Britney Glaser here in the KPLC 7Newsroom with a look at what's ahead on today's Sunrise:

*Some seven explosions have rocked two burning fuel barges in Mobile, Alabama. Fire officials say the initial blasts injured three people.  A Lake Charles area resident managing a project near the explosion site tells us his terminal has been evacuated.

*President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama are in Waco, Texas today to attend a memorial for the 14 people who died after an explosion at the fertilizer plant in the town of West.  We'll have a preview of what's in store today.

*Allen Parish voters will get to choose whether or not they want to pay higher taxes for increased school security.  This millage increase will help pay for school resource officers on every school campus in the parish.

*Biggest Loser competitions have helped countless people lose weight, mirroring the hit NBC weight loss show.  In this morning's Healthcast, I'll tell you how McNeese State University President Philip Williams dropped 35+ pounds and a student that also transformed herself.

Make it a Sunrise day!
